Pac-Man community on Facebook Gaming. Launching on December 6th, this new game takes the arcade spin and transforms the gameplay. Multiplayer
Players will be able to team up in teams of four to battle the series' iconic ghosts while competing for the highest score. There's also a "View" tab that allows you to see creators playing games. And there's a chance to interact with the video player by controlling Pac-Man and the ghosts from the AI.
The Pac-Man community follows the broader trend in social gaming. From Twitch streams to Fortnite concerts to the rise of Among Us last year, the Watch tab brings modern social features to games that are over 40 years old.
Facebook Gaming is part of the company's push for the growing metaverse. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in the post: "Gaming is a big part of the metaverse and I'm looking forward to seeing games like this more interactive and immersive.
